The MOT certificate

 

The MOT certificate confirms that at the time of the test ,

without dismantling anything your vehicle met the law requirement

and is roadworthy for the time stated on the certificate.

The certificate is no guarantee on general mechanical condition of the engine and gearbox.

 

Mots are an important part of motoring, not only is it a law requirement

 it's safety for you and other road users.

Your vehicle goes thought a MOT every 12 months

beginning from the last test date,

during these 12 months it is the responsibility

of the owner to keep the vehicle road worthy.

New cars are exempt for the first three years.
